What are the Teen Choice Awards?
The Teen Choice Awards is a yearly awards show that honors the year’s biggest achievements in music, film, sports, television, fashion, and more. The winners are chosen viewers who vote through various social media sites.
The Teen Choice Awards aired for the first time in August 1999 and while there was no official host, the show was introduced by Britney Spears. Since 2004, there have often been two (or more) celebrities hosting the awards show. Multiple musical acts usually perform throughout the awards ceremony.

When Does the 2019 Show Air?
The 21st annual Teen Choice Awards will air this year on August 11, 2019 on Fox. As of now, the host and musical guests have not yet been announced.
