  1. Oh forget me Eli did not realize it came out that way I guess that's what I get for speaking in the speakerphone, I'm trying to understand what they mean by transmit all I want to do is stream not upload not download but transmit I'm trying to understand what they mean with that

  2. A question for you about vpns I don't know a lot about them I know when you look at their policies and hear what here's what I'm trying to understand, they talk about you're not allowed to upload or download I understand that but they say transmit talking about transmit data to other people because all I'm interested in is streaming can you elaborate on that. thank you

  3. I just found your channel and I was wondering if you could hopefully point me in the right direction, or anyone in the comments. I am looking to find good learning material for running the IT infrastructure for a business. I would like to know all the ins and outs of doing so. Is there any material that can teach me this stuff (backups, servers, mass updates, network security, etc.)

  4. I thought I was getting tired since I only heard sound on left ear. Figured out, by reading the comments, that I wasn't the only one with this fatigue-problem.

  5. Nice video dear. ..

  6. what I don't get is isn't it a risky thing to be connected to a network with unknown other participants? or is there no way for other users of this network to read my traffic?

  7. omg these vpn companies are ripping the arse out of it. extortionate prices. £25-30 a year is fair but £70-80 is a joke they need to reduce price seriously then people will consider a vpn.

  8. I have a question about VPN;

Does VPN client software effect anything when it's just installed but not active?
Someone I know was advised to uninstall VPN client software because it would supposedly cause an issue with an online game that they play besides the one they wanted to connect to. (IP blocked in their area, that's why they tried to use VPN for the other game.)

  10. Great job, very informative for a techno retarded oldster. i am trying to buy bit4g which is not avaliable in the US. They said I could get around the restriction by getting VPS. I am not sure whether I should subscribe to a service, or if it already installed in my computer and don't know how to use it. once again thanks!

  11. As ever I find your tutorials excellent….
    However I have questions ….
    VPN or SSH
As I understand it, they both do basically the same thing- create a tunnel in which the data is encrypted.
As I am a user who has converted from Windows to Linux for numerous reasons, (in fact I only find windows good for gaming…Linux is far better for everything else.)
I run a ssh server at home and connect to it using ssh, without passwords- using ssh Key for authorization- fail2ban–plus other security.
    My questions are
If I have setup a ssh server do I need a VPN?…. I also know how to re-route my connection through proxy`s….what does VPN offer me over SSH?
    Which is more secure?
With SSH I am able to totally control my home network using SSH via Nethunter on my nexus 6xt1100..
Does VPN offer more or less functionality than SSH? or do they both do the same thing?
    Any advise would be great
    Many thanks

  12. The Internet was created by the British not the US Army. Tim berners-lee created the world wide web and other Brittish researchers created routing and switching packets over networks.
