UPDATES MAY 1st 2016
I am fed up with Netflix VPN DNS proxy policy so I made this video showing other alternatives with better content at a fair price.
Hi fellow Youtubers. We have ben receiving a lot of email from our fans and followers regarding issues with Netflix blocking some of their shows and movies. This is because Netflix is now enforcing a no DNS policy for Netflix subscribers around the world that access Netflix content from other countries and which has not been released or authorized yet in their homeland. On this video we show you how to trick Netflix and avoid this annoying issue.
You need to be aware that this will only work with a smart DNS. Most DNS services offered on the web are regular static dns which will not work or solve this Netflix issue. However, the dns were are using has its own trick to deal with it.
You can get our DNS on this link
PLEASE USE THE PROVIDED LINKS SO THAT WE CAN FOLLOW UP ON YOUR SUPPORT REQUESTS
The steps to solve the issue (in this case it only works with our DNS) are:
1. Log in to Netflix on your device (in this case it was a Roku 1).
2. Choose your tv show or movie.
3. If you get Netflix’s turn off DNS server warning, go back to home page or exit.
4. Log on to your DNS user account. Go to smart DNS and wait to receive the Everything Check and working OK promp.
5. Reselect your Netflix region.
6. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and log on again to Netflix (in our case Roku).
7. Choose your show and play. If you get the DNS prompt again get out of Netflix and wait 5 minutes and retry.
8. When you reacces Netflix you might notice a prompt telling that Netflix service has suffered and interruption or error. THis is the OK sign that Netflix can no longer trace the DNS. Get out and reaccess Netflix.
9. You shall now be able to see your show on the region selected.
You cant get your DNS on the description of this video or by clicking on the info (“i”) icon on this video.
IMPORTANT: For this to work you must have blocked Google’s DNS on your router via static routing.
UPDATES as of March 12, 2016
We found out that recently Netflix has blocked this DNS as well. however there is a catch or bypass. If you want to access a library, simply choose the region you want on your account and enter Netflix on your roku for example. You will see the library of that region however if you have the DNS on you will not be allowed to access it. So simply turn the DNS for Netflix off right after your return to home on your roku and access Netflix again but with the DNS off. You will see the library from the last region you chose and will be able to access the content since the dns is not detected by Netflix. .
